Mitch is a Bassist, Producer, Studio Owner, Manager, and Educator from Philadelphia. With over 15 years of professional experience performing, recording , and working with numerous artists and producers, versatility is the hallmark of  his performance and studio career, with very few styles unexplored.

Over the  last 3 years he's compiled an extensive credit list as both a Bass Player and Producer, built The Retro City B Room, a premier production suite studio and adjunct to Retro City Studios, in Germantown, started a management and label company, Somebody's Dad, and continued to perform live shows regularly throughout the Tri-State Area. 

He's toured Internationally with the Grammy Winning Digable Planets and is currently the session bassist for 9 Time Grammy Winning Producer Joe "The Butcher" Nicolo.  Mitch has a love for collaboration and you can find a list of his coproducers on this site as well as studios he loves.  At this point Mitch has recorded on everything from folk to rock to hip hop thanks to all the people with whom he's worked.   

Active locally in Philadelphia as a Governor of the Philadelphia Chapter of the Grammys, his focus has been on both Advocating for musicians and mentoring GrammyU students in the Music Industry.
